Due to heavy rain accompanied by strong winds, around two trees that is located on Jalan Matraman Raya and Jalan Pemuda in East Jakarta fell at around 3.03 PM.

East Jakarta Fire and Handling Sub-dept.'s Fire and Rescue Section Head, Gatot Sulaeman stated that types of fallen trees were angsana that has 30 cm diameter with 6 m high (Jalan Matraman Raya) and mahogany that has 30 cm diameter and 7 m high (Jalan Pemuda).
"Fallen tree on Jalan Matraman is precisely on the sidewalk and slightly protrudes to the shoulder of the road. It caused traffic jam from Salemba towards Jatinegara," he stated, Thursday (11/22).
